Project description:
On the 1st of January 2017 another prestigious project started at the LED-Laufsteg. As part of the National Climate Initiative, the project Light-LAB will expand the LED-Laufsteg by an Education and Competence Center for LEDs.
The project aims at developing pedagogical concepts to encourage school students to experience light empirically. By means of didactic actions, school students will be encouraged to carry out light experiments. The goal thereby is to raise awareness for climate policy issues and to stimulate a climate-conscious behavior. Additional educational concepts will be developed for municipalities.
The project is funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB).
The guided tours at LED-Laufsteg are free and require prior registration.
